Assuming that holds true for Legends of Tomorrow, that will probably be the only one I get on BluRay this time around.

Yeah,I would bet it's included in the Legend Season 5 set when that gets announced. The only Arrowverse set probably won't have it is Black Lightning I would think.

Black Lightning had a tie-in episode but didn't have a direct episode in the crossover..Also Season 2 didn't get a normal release. It got a Warner Archive DVD only release.I'm assuming Season 3 will be the same.

Is that the Manufactured On Demand wing of WB?

Good that it's available for fans at all, but sad that's the only format. ?

Yes.I have it and it fine.I'm happy with any release over no release.I assume it went to Warner Archive because season 1 which had a normal DVD and Blu Ray release, didin't sell well enough.

They just announced Pennyworth Season 1 as a Warner Archive release at the end of June but it will be Blu Ray.

So I now have the Blu-ray and its looks like the release I have (UK) has only the first hour of the Crisis. Season 3 and 4 had all parts of the crossovers on the Blu-ray.

On the other hand, this looks like a decent release because the previous four seasons had ludicrously poor bit rates for each of the episodes but finally we have fairly high bit rates for this season.

Its taken them a life time to give us fans what we deserve. I'm quite beEEPP about season 1-4 not having the same quality. For Blu-ray this was just about acceptable but for DVD it was inexcusable.

The Blu-ray has 5 episodes spread over 4 discs, I'm guessing the DVD release should have better bit rates too.

My US Blu-Ray has all 19 episodes of Supergirl including CoIE, Part 1 over four disks and all five parts of CoIE on a separate fifth disk labeled CoIE. I like having the crossover as a separate disk.

Apparently credits are the reason the crossover episodes aren’t released in the US as a separate thing from each shows complete season so what they did this year is the next best thing. This is more disks than the season three and four Blu-Ray’s which included the crossover episodes as part of four disks. I’m happy WB didn’t raise the price for the fifth disk.

@Ja50n1c In the past in the U.K. the crossover episodes were released on DVD separately from each shows complete season. A quick check on eBay shows U.K. CoIE DVD’s for sale. I don’t know about CoIE on Blu-Ray in the U.K.

I traditionally rewatch only the prior season just before the new season starts. Once we get a primer date for season six I’ll figure out a viewing schedule for season five.

Sometimes US releases have more features, you certainly got the better deal this time. I almost feel like sending it back to Amazon and getting the US release, but it would cost more.

I did get CoIE on DVD in May, I quite like the cover art. I intended to send it back because I was expecting they would have the crossover in its entirety on the season 5 disc as season 3 and 4 did like you mentioned. Amazon though said I didn't have to send it back and gave me a refund so that was cool I guess.

Yeah I have had the crossovers for season 3 and 4 on a separate DVD, but the SG Blu-rays have all parts on one disc. Season 2 is the only one where I had to keep the individual DVD, as the crossover doesn't appear at all on the BD.

What I am pleasantly surprised about is Warner have sensibly not overly compressed the episodes like they did for the previous seasons which I'm really not :( about.
This can make a crucial difference, I have season 3 on BD but I did also have it on DVD (long story) I also had the crossover as a separate release which was spread over 2 discs. (this was quite generous for a DVD) The season 3 DVD only had the first part of the crossover along with the 3 other SG episodes on the disc. When comparing the separate release vs the SG season 3 release you could tell the image was sharper on the separate release even though both used the MPEG2 codec.

Since I also have the Arrow Season 8,Batwoman Season 1,The Flash Season 6 and will be getting DC Legends Of Tomorrow Season 5(out next week)-I actually have/will have five copies of the Crisis disk.

The only upcoming DC releases that won't have it is Stargirl Season 1(not a part of the event other than a Earth 2 cameo in Crisis Part V establishing non Arrowverse shows are on different earths now) and the just announced Black Lightning Season 3 blu ray from Warner Archive(Season 2 is also being released on blu ray.It got a DVD release a while back).Black Lightning did a tie-in episode but the show wasn't a part of the main body of the event.
